Addya Agarwal

I'm Addya Agarwal, a journalist for Carlmont High School's Scot Scoop publication and a current senior (class of 2027).

 

Journalism is important to me because of the opportunity it gives to me to blend my curiosity with my love for research and exploration by exploring diverse topics and learning from new perspectives. Interviewing people and researching topics for a story has given me the opportunity to meet and engage with both people and stories I never thought I would have before!

Outside of journalism, I'm involved in Key Club and serve as a student trustee on the district Student Advisory Council.​ In my free time, you can find me reading fantasy novels, playing board games with my family, and diving into rabbit holes about pop culture and cognitive science.
